Photon for SCX30

The very first Sci-fi body for the SCX30.

Small and nimble, yet solid and sturdy, the Photon is a low-profile recon vehicle perfect to tackle any alien terrain.

Built for the SCX30 stock chassis, it is simple yet sophisticated. With less than half the weight of the Bronco body, and a much lower profile, it is the easiest first mod that ensures enhanced performance right off the bat.

Printed with ASA filament. Compared to PLA, it has:
-Much higher heat resistance. Summer heat is not an issue anymore.
-Much higher UV resistance. No issues for prolonged outdoor exposure.
-High impact resistance. Let it tumble down that trail!

Unpainted. Some cleanups may be needed. For painting intricate details, use fine-tip oil-based paint markers, or detailing brushes.

BUILD INSTRUCTIONS:
You may notice some extra materials around the rear, they are the remnant of the printing process, not part of the model. You can remove them using an Xacto knife.

>Use the two slots in the front to clip onto stock chassis’ front body mounting tabs. I test mount every single one of them. It might be a little tight first but should ease up over time. To remove, hold the bed area and lift up to pop it off.

>For best looks, I recommend remove the stock front light brackets, and trim the front end of the chassis, along where its thickness changes just before the front shock mounting holes.

>Relocate front LEDs to the body, you may need to slightly open up the mounting holes to fit them.

>Included magnets are optional; you can use the round slot on the underside of the body to mount one, and hot glue the other one onto the rear chassis brace, for some added security.
